Unsere Mission - Our Mission
We provide recreational, culturally rich German lessons for any learner of German, regardless of prior knowledge or study or age, with a current and appealing curriculum. Our instructors are native or near-native speakers of German teaching small classes with no more than 8 students.
Kurse - Courses
German Culture
German culture is rich and invites us to explore the many facets of a long history, traditions, and current developments. This will be part of every class, and do not be surprised if you learn something about your own culture! All students are invited to take part in German cultural events such as Oktoberfest, Lanternwalk, Fasching etc.
Parent and Me
Students 3 years to 4 1/2 years old learn by playing, singing, doing crafts, and other activities. One parent (or caregiver, such as grandparent/ aunt/ guardian) must attend with the child. No prior knowledge of German necessary.
Parent and Me: A snack in the theme of the day is provided. Class is 90 minutes long.
Preschool
Elementary Classes
Students 4 1/2 to 6 years old learn songs, have fun with rhymes, do crafts, have a themed snack, work on counting and pre-reading activities, and actively play, while encouraged to use German words and even sentences! Parents are not required to stay. Class lasts for 2 hours. No prior knowledge of German necessary.
Elementary Classes
Elementary Classes
Students attending Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School will enjoy age appropriate instruction in German, starting with speaking, understanding, reading and writing, and of course singing and crafts. Class lasts for 2 hours. No prior knowledge of German necessary.
High School and Adult Classes
Starting at Beginner levels, with intermediate and advanced levels added on demand, parents of Immersion students, and anyone else interested in the culture and language, will enjoy the current materials and cultural insights. Classes are 2 hours long. No prior knowledge of German necessary for the New Beginner class.
Schedule
Classes are by semesters, with the Fall Semester starting the week after Labor Day, and the Spring Sessions starting the Saturday after the end of Winter Break of the ASD calendar, lasting for 14-16 sessions. It is possible to join during the semester at the discretion of the teacher teaching the desired class at a prorated fee. Contact us for exact times of the scheduled classes and registration dates/ times.

Beginner SaKu 2 (started Fall 2024): Saturdays 10:00 am-12:00pm
Beginner MoKu 1 (started Fall 2024): Mondays 6:30-8:30 pm
Beginner MiKu 1 (started Spring 2024): Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm
Beginner MiKu 2 (started Fall 2023): Wednesdays 5:00-7:00 pm
Upper Beginner SaKu 1: Saturdays 10:45 am- 12:45 pm
Intermediate Plus SoKu : Sundays, 4:30-6:30 pm
